Edwin Ernest Stainback III, 87, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, died June 29, 2025. Born in Harnett County, North Carolina, he served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Dupont (DD‑941) and in the Naval Reserve. He was a devoted husband to the late Betty Hodge Stainback and an active member of the Salvation Army. He will be buried at Fort Laramie Cemetery in Wyoming. No service will be held.
