Nancy "Jeraline" Hoffman

1938 - 2021

Dallas-Nancy "Jeraline" Warren Hoffman, 82, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2021 at the Robin Johnson House surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Lowell (Gaston County) North Carolina, on December 24, 1938, to the late Arthur Ray Warren, Sr. and Lula Josephine Williams Warren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Violet Lee, Beatrice, Myrtle Jeanette, Thelma, Arthur Ray "A.R.", Lucille "Lulu", Ralph David, Rita Sue, Bobby Gene "Bob", and Cecilia Rebecca "Celia".

Jeraline was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and was an avid reader. She was also active in the local senior community. Jeraline was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 65 years, James "Nelson" Hoffman, her children, Janet Hoffman (Randy) Benoy, Kevin James Hoffman and Kathy Hoffman (Barry) Sekerak; grandchildren, Melinda Benoy (Ryan) Hager, Donna Benoy (Wesley) Edison, Danielle Fay (Lance Wood) Sekerak, Cassandra Rose Sekerak, Alexis Rae Sekerak; great grandchildren, Wyatt Thomas Hager, Hadley Elizabeth Hager, Lydia Ruth Hager, and Elaina Grace Edison.

Visitation for family and friends will be 1:00 - 1:45 p.m., Monday, June 14th at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday in the church with Reverend John H. Spencer and Pastor Junior Morris officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with the releasing of the doves.

Pallbearers will be, Wesley Edison, Ryan Hager, Wyatt Hager, Steve Hovis, Gary Plonk and Tommy Withers.
