Teresa Doreen Scronce Deal, 57, of Connelly Springs, passed away on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at her residence following a period of declining health.
Teresa was born March 8, 1964, in Burke County to Gladys Davis Scronce and the late TC Scronce. She was a member of Laurel Haven Baptist Church. Teresa loved animals, but most of all she loved her family and grandchildren.
In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her infant son Wendell Jeffrey Deal.
She is survived by her children, Wendy Abee and husband Ronnie, Amy Deal, and Trevor Deal; brother, Larry Scronce and wife Minda; sister, Tina Brammer and husband Jerry; grandchildren, Kayley Abee and Jensen Abee; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 2:00 PM at St. John Baptist Church with Rev. John White officiating.
The body will lie-in-state on Saturday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Service in Valdese.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to help with expenses at 1507 Main St. E, Valdese, NC 28690.
